User Agreement
Last updated June 25, 2026
How you use your Veto account and authorize AI agents to transact on your behalf – the mandates you set, the automated payments you consent to, and how we handle your data.
1. Scope & Acceptance
This User Agreement (the “Agreement”) sits alongside the Terms of Service and describes the relationship between you and the Veto merchant platform, operated by Investech Global LLC (“Veto,” “we,” “us”). It explains how you use your account and how you authorize AI agents to transact on your behalf.
By accepting at sign-up or continuing to use the Service, you agree to this Agreement. If the Terms of Service and this Agreement conflict, the Terms of Service control for the matters they cover.
2. Your Account & Security
Your account is yours to protect. Keep your sign-in method, API keys, and signing keys confidential, and do not share access with anyone who should not have it. You are responsible for everything done through your account, whether by you, your team, or systems you authorize.
Tell us right away at legal@veto-ai.com if you believe your account, keys, or receiving address have been compromised. We may take protective action – including pausing activity – to limit harm while we investigate.
4. Automated Transactions & Consent
You understand and consent that transactions on the Service may be initiated and completed automatically by software, without a human reviewing each one, when they fall within the authority you have configured. A signed authorization decision accompanies each transaction so that the action is attributable and verifiable.
Because settlement happens on payment rails that may be final and irreversible, you accept that authorized automated payments cannot be reversed by Veto once confirmed. Set your limits to a level you are comfortable having an agent act within on its own.
5. Data & Privacy
We aim to collect only the data we need to operate the Service for you – for example, your account details, your checkout and product configuration, and records of transactions and authorization decisions. We do not take custody of your funds, and we do not sell your personal data.
Our handling of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of this Agreement. You can also direct any data or privacy questions to legal@veto-ai.com.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree to use the Service lawfully and in good faith. You will not use it to sell prohibited or illegal goods or services, to defraud or deceive buyers, to launder funds or evade sanctions, to infringe anyone’s rights, or to attack, overload, or circumvent the security of the Service. The full acceptable-use rules in the Terms of Service apply here as well.
7. Suspension
We may suspend or limit your account, or specific agents and mandates, if we reasonably believe there is a violation of this Agreement or the Terms, a security or fraud risk, or a legal requirement to do so. Where practicable we will let you know and, where appropriate, give you a chance to resolve the issue.
8. Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation, the behavior of any agent or buyer, or the performance of third-party payment rails and networks. The disclaimers and limitations of liability in the Terms of Service apply to this Agreement.
9. Changes
We may update this Agreement from time to time. When changes are material, we will update the “Last updated” date above and provide notice where appropriate. Continuing to use the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Agreement.
